Welcome to Innergrowth!
We understand that privacy is paramount when exploring your inner world, especially when sharing your personal insights and most vulnerable thoughts through digital tools. As the creators of Innergrowth, we firmly believe that your inner security and privacy are the foundation of your growth.
Innergrowth ("we," "us," or "the App") provides a mobile application designed to enhance your self-awareness and personal development by applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to the processes of self-reflection, psychological assessment, and personalized growth insights.
This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose your information. Please feel free to contact us for clarification on any questions you may have.
Our Commitment
Our commitment to your privacy is not just an obligation—it's a core part of our mission to provide you with a truly secure, private, and empowering environment for self-exploration.
When you entrust us with sensitive and personal information, especially your journal entries and psychological assessment results, we believe our most important responsibility is to keep it as safe, secure, and private as possible, while still delivering effective features and exceptional service through our product.
We believe that transparency is one of the most important values in building healthy relationships, and this extends to our relationship with our users. We will make every effort to provide clear, open communication about our data practices, enabling you to make informed decisions about your data and its use within Innergrowth.
Why We Store Data
After careful consideration of various factors, we firmly believe that securely storing essential user data in the cloud is the only way for us to deliver an experience that emphasizes user convenience, data security, and service reliability:
Cross-Device Access: By storing data on our secure servers, we allow you to seamlessly access your journal entries, assessment results, and growth records across different devices (e.g., your smartphone and potentially tablets in the future). This means you can continue your self-exploration journey from anywhere.
Data Protection & Resilience: While on-device encryption is robust, there's an inherent risk of permanent data loss if the user forgets or loses their encryption key. By securely storing data on our servers, we can ensure that your journal entries and valuable data are not permanently lost, even if you lose your device or forget your key, providing disaster recovery capabilities.
Service Reliability: Relying solely on local device storage (like IndexedDB) can sometimes be unreliable, leading to data loss or synchronization issues. We use trusted and reliable data storage providers, ensuring your data is securely stored and always accessible, providing stable support for your growth journey.
Building an innovative and deeply valuable product like Innergrowth is no small feat, and we genuinely appreciate your trust. We will dedicate our utmost efforts to create an unprecedented personalized growth experience. Your participation makes all of this possible, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Communication Data: Information you provide when contacting our customer support or otherwise communicating with us.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information:
We also automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable and technical data to ensure smooth service operation and continuous improvement:
Device Information: Details about the mobile device you use to access Innergrowth, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, language settings, and network type.
Usage Data: Information about your interaction with the Service, such as pages you visit, features you use, time spent in the App, app crash reports, and session statistics.
Analytics Data: We use third-party analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics or similar services) to collect anonymized and aggregated user behavior data. This data helps us understand how users engage with Innergrowth. It is never used to identify you personally, and it is explicitly designed not to include your journal content or psychological assessment results.
We use the information we collect for various purposes, all aimed at providing, maintaining, improving, and personalizing your Innergrowth experience:
To Provide and Maintain Our Services: To ensure you can access Innergrowth and use all features smoothly. This includes using your account information to manage your access and displaying your content and personalized insights within the app on demand, based on your journal and assessment results.
To Personalize and Improve Services: Utilizing aggregated and anonymized data to identify trends, track user behavior, and understand how you interact with Innergrowth. This allows us to identify areas for improvement, develop innovative features (such as more precise AI insights), and optimize the overall user experience.
To Develop New Services: The collected data can inspire new ideas, helping us innovate. It provides insights into what users value, and what new services we can develop to meet their needs and expectations.
To Protect Innergrowth and Our Users: Certain information is used for security purposes to protect our App and all users. For example, we may use information to verify accounts, prevent fraudulent activities, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal requirements.
To Provide Tailored Insights: This is a core function of Innergrowth. We use your journal content and assessment data (while ensuring privacy) to process it via AI, generating personalized feedback, suggestions, and growth reports for you. This helps you better understand yourself, visualize your growth, and make informed decisions.
We solemnly pledge: Under no circumstances do we deviate from strict data handling practices to ensure your information is processed responsibly and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Your journal content, psychological assessment results, and any sensitive personal data that directly or indirectly identifies you, will never be sold to third parties, used for advertising purposes, or publicly disclosed by us or any third party without your explicit consent.
We carefully select and use various third-party services to help us provide, improve, secure, and promote our services:
Data Storage & Encryption: We use highly secure cloud data storage service providers such as Google Firebase Firestore or similar. All data transmitted between you and our services is protected by industry-standard strong encryption protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS). Additionally, our backend data storage services rigorously encrypt all data at rest, providing multiple layers of protection.
Anonymous Analytics & Monitoring: We may use analytics and error monitoring tools such as Firebase Analytics, Sentry or similar services. These tools are used to analyze and monitor user behavior, helping us understand how our users engage with the app, improve our services, and fix bugs. All sensitive data (such as journal content, psychological assessment results, or any personally identifiable information) is explicitly NOT sent to these analytical services. The data remains aggregated, anonymized, and non-reverse-identifiable.
Artificial Intelligence Processing: We may use leading AI service providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or others to provide advanced computing tasks, including but not limited to language processing and intelligent insight generation. All your journal content data processed by these services undergoes strict anonymization, containing only the content itself, with no user identification, and we ensure that this data is immediately discarded after processing and NEVER used for model training or retention. We enter into strict data protection agreements (such as zero-data retention agreements and confidentiality agreements) with these service providers to ensure they handle data to high standards and protect your privacy.
Please note that these third-party service providers have their own privacy policies governing how such information is used. We only choose providers with strong privacy commitments and adherence to industry standards.
Innergrowth is firmly committed to protecting your sensitive personal content, especially your journal entries and psychological assessment data. Sharing, selling, or distributing your sensitive data to any third party is against our values and company ethos. We will never do so unless absolutely required by law with a valid legal process.
Ensuring the security of your data is our top priority, and we employ various measures to protect your information:
Data Encryption: All data transmitted between you and our services is protected by industry-standard strong encryption protocols, such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology, ensuring the privacy and integrity of your data in transit. Furthermore, our backend data storage services rigorously encrypt all data at rest, providing multiple layers of protection.
Access Control: We implement stringent access control measures. Only authorized employees, and only for the purpose of addressing specific technical issues or providing necessary support, are granted access to sensitive user data. This access is protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA) and detailed audit logs.
Employee Data Access Policy: Our employees do not have access to production data, thereby minimizing the risk of unauthorized access or exposure. All data access is strictly restricted and monitored.
Training & Awareness: Our team undergoes regular training in security practices and data protection, ensuring that every Innergrowth employee understands the importance of data security and knows how to handle user information responsibly.
Continuous Monitoring & Audits: We continuously monitor our systems for potential security vulnerabilities and regularly conduct internal reviews of our security practices and procedures, committed to continually improving our security posture.
User Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your Innergrowth account at any time either through in-app features or by contacting us. Once such a request is made, all associated personally identifiable data and journal content will be permanently deleted from our production systems within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days).
Data Retention: Deleted data may remain in our backup systems for a limited period (typically 30 days) solely for disaster recovery purposes, after which it will be permanently deleted from all systems. Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes, but this data cannot identify you personally.
Under applicable laws, you have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten"): In certain circumstances, request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Data Portability: Receive the personal information you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Withdraw Consent: Where our processing of your data relies on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section below.
We are committed to swiftly and effectively addressing any data breaches or security incidents. We have established internal processes and protocols to ensure that in the event of a potential incident, we can promptly identify, respond, mitigate impact, and notify affected users (if required by applicable law).
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this policy, we may notify you through in-app notifications, email, or other explicit means. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
